Metropolitan Title Agency, Inc. was founded In 1984. After 40 years and tens of thousands of transactions, MTA has a diverse team of experienced professionals to help you with all your commercial title needs.
MTA is owned and operated by Anne Kurtz, Esq. who provides guidance and expertise during transactions and ensuring that title commitments and policies protect against all known risks.
Nationwide Service
Although based just outside of Atlanta in Conyers, Georgia, MTA conducts business throughout the United States. As of 2024, MTA has been involved in transactions in 25 states.

Anne, an Atlanta native, graduated with Highest Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Management and received her Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University College of Law. She began her career in real estate at Morris, Manning, and Martin, LLP in its residential real estate division while she attended college and law school.
After graduating law school, Anne worked as a criminal prosecutor. She is an experienced litigator having tried over fifty cases ranging from death penalty trials to high-publicity public corruption trials. Anne has extensive managerial experience from her days as Chief Assistant District Attorney of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit where she managed 15 attorneys in Newton and Walton Counties. Immediately prior to joining MTA, Anne was a member of the elite Public Integrity Unit in DeKalb County and prosecuted public corruption. Being a trial lawyer taught Anne to find solutions in even the most high stress and fast paced environments.
After years as a litigator, Anne decided to return to her real estate roots and joined her uncle, John Perry Cripe, Esq., at MTA. John, a well-known and highly respected “Deed Dog” (aka Title Examiner), taught Anne how to search titles while she was in law school and the two welcomed the opportunity to come full circle and work together as business partners at MTA.
Anne is an experienced real estate professional that prioritizes responsiveness and making real estate transactions as smooth and stress-free as possible for her customers. Anne ensures that MTA provides outstanding customer service along with fast, reliable solutions.
Anne lives in Madison, Georgia with her three dogs and three horses. In her free time, she enjoys trail riding on her Rocky Mountain horses and spending time with friends and family.
